We have always felt your love and light and energy.
Congrats to Niko- Wesleyan University CSSHonors Graduate 2021 !
I’ve had a few folks ask what to give, what to do to congratulate him.
There is only one response I have:
Let’s send him out into the world !
Niko has always been an explorer, a global citizen. At 6, London was his choice for summer recess. By the time he finished up the Intl. Baccalaureate Programme in 2017, dude had learned to speak Japanese fluently, mastered a self-taught Mandarin course and visited the Isle of Sapporo, Japan- to attend classes at Hokkaido International.
While at Wesleyan University, he has Chaired Every Vote Counts, interned for the United Nations, and the Police Reform Organizing Project. He has completed the distinguished College of Social Studies Program- a rigorous, multidisciplinary major focusing on History, Government, Political and Social Theory, and Economics. His sights are on international policy, social justice, and human dignity.
As for that wish at 6 yrs old…Niko has spent time studying in London, traveling Rome, Paris, Malaga, and Brussels, and Japan…(And, Mom has the tropics covered for graduation…Ssshhhh that’s MY surprise!)
His next steps involve supporting underserved global communities in-his words- “the most meaningful ways”. He will be working to serve, teach and contribute.
We know that the world will be a better place with him out in it !
