Nikolaos Taneris 48, gone too soon.
Dear Friends,
I am writing on behalf of the surviving family of Nikolaos Taneris. He was my 48 year old uncle. Nik recently succumbed to his battle with COVID-19. He is survived by his wife Georgia, and three young children, Androulla (9 years old), Angelo (6 years old), and Aristotelis (22 months old) sisters Mary Labridis and Toula Hanjis (Jimmy Hanjis) and brother Tony Tanery (Ann Tanery) and 5 nieces and nephews and their young children. This virus has taken a lot from all of us in the last year but it is brought into sharp relief the personal tragedy his young children experienced. Nikolaos worked from home these last few years and delighted in taking care of his children. He was a proud and involved father, taking the kids to school ( or setting them up for zoom, an encompassing task so many of us know the pain of). He joined school trips, and sent pictures of their adventures to family and friends. Sadly the kids will have to go on without their loving father and primary caretaker. I am establishing this go fund me to help them in these difficult years to come. The funds raised will be directed toward child care and their education. As we look forward to the end of this terrible pandemic, I hope you can spare a thought and donate to its young survivors.
Any and all donations will help as Nik’s family needs to focus on healing right now.
