Nils’ Final Wishes

Nils was a family man and an avid adventurer. He and Laura bought their family home in June 2017; prior to this Nils had already attended numerous medical appointments regarding his health and they were unable to obtain life Insurance to protect their family against the worst happening.
As the months and years rolled by, Nils continued to work steadfastly throughout intense chemo treatments and life changing operations at Manchester’s Christie Hospital supported wholly by Lyon Equipment. His dedication to his work, his non-stop pursuit of his mantra of ‘riding bikes to overcome difficult times’ and the launch of his inspirational charity ‘Rider Resilience’ enabled him to share his story and provide an inspirational legacy for his family.
Heartbreakingly on the 19th December 2023, Nils passed away peacefully surrounded by family and his spirit transported into the hearts of those who loved him most.
One of his final wishes was that Laura and his two small children continued to go on adventures; pushing their boundaries and living life to the full.
This gofundme page has been set up to try to raise money to help Laura, Lotte and Leo financially; to help towards paying off a mortgage based on only one income, rising cost of living and to ensure Nils’ final wish of making sure his two children can have a lifetime of adventures - the life that Nils would have undoubtedly given them if he was here!
