NIN Live Additional Server Fundraiser
Donation protected
The Nine Inch Nails Live Archive is ran 100% by me, plus a few others who donate their time and energy into helping me with some back-end coding and contributing sources. I love working on the website as a hobby and trying to make a detailed archive of every NIN live recording that is in circulation. Since starting this archive in 2008 and supporting full downloads of shows in 2010 there have been many additions. To date, there are over 1,100 audio sources and 310 video sources available for download on the site. I am very proud of that and want to continue doing so. Each month, there is anywhere from 20-60TB downloaded and I am really happy that people still use the site and listen to the many recordings on there.
Recently, I have hit capacity on my 3TB server where the archive is currently hosted. The site went down for awhile and I was worried everything was lost. Since reaching capacity, I have removed a few things in order to keep the site running and have a buffer. I am not sure that my host will be migrating the site to another server to give more space to the archive. I always thought of the day it would happen and the last few years I have been pretty naive to think it was "unlimited" space.
I am looking into other alternatives and I believe a storage solution server in order to keep the archive going with additional sources to be uploaded is the best way to make this happen. This fundraiser is to help with the costs of the extra server space and other related costs with running it. I appreciate all of the support throughout the last couple of years to keep this boat afloat. It sure does take a village and I am extremely grateful for everyone who has helped out in any way with the archive.
I will continue to add sources and add more features to the site in the next year or so. It brings me great joy to share the music of Nine Inch Nails live with everyone and keep a detailed record of each recording that surfaces. I know I have been listening to more live recordings during this time as it brings back great memories. I miss live concerts more than anything during this time.
Thank you for considering to help the archive gain additional server space. Be safe and hope to see you all when the next tour happens.
