Dear All,
This is to bring to your Notice that one of our HCL colleague working in Regulatory Reporting team from Corp Tech, whose name is Nitesh Bhardwaj a very good Technical geek, is suffering from a rare neurological disorder that happens to 1 in 100, 000 people. This disorder is called Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS).
What is Guillain-Barré syndrome?
Guillain-Barré syndrome is a rare but serious autoimmune disorder in which the immune system attacks healthy nerve cells in your peripheral nervous system (PNS).
This leads to weakness, numbness, and tingling, and can eventually cause paralysis.
The cause of this condition is unknown, but it’s typically triggered by an infectious illness, such as gastroenteritis (irritation of the stomach or intestines) or a lung infection.
This leads to weakness, numbness, and tingling, and can eventually cause paralysis.
There’s no cure for the syndrome, but treatment can reduce the severity of your symptoms and shorten the duration of the illness.
Currently Nitesh is undergoing treatment in Apollo Hospital Sarita Vihar, Delhi where he is being treated with IVIG treatment but, it had some side effects due to which he is currently on Ventilator. His stay in the hospital could be long and his estimated cost could be around Rs. 25,00,000/-. Any monetary help at this point would be really appreciated. His Medical coverage is not more than Rs. 3,50,000/-, with some approvals will go all the way to Rs. 450,000/-. This is an initiative to help Nitesh as his financial background is not that strong especially to manage a hefty amount of Rs. 25 Lakhs.
