Niviah Ferguson

Niviah has a rare form of Juvenile Myositis. At this point she cannot walk without assistance and is very weak because she's unable to eat. She has been in and out of the hospital for weeks now which has resulted in her mother having to be off work to care for her. Between all of the doctor visits and hospital stays, she has exhausted all efforts for treatment here in Alabama and is being transferred to Vanderbilt Hospital in Tennessee for an unknown period of time. We are asking that you please help us raise money to cover travel expenses for Niviah and her family as well as covering financial obligations here at home while her family is taking off work to care for their daughter. It is very stressful having a sick child with no definitive answer to what is going on or a treatment plan. It is even more stressful to have to worry about paying bills when you're unable to work. We ask that you please find it in your heart to help this family out with the financial burden of this journey. Any little bit helps and is greatly appreciated. Her mother is an amazing person and a very important part of our staff here at Cox Veterinary Hospital so we want to help her as much as we can!
