Hello Friends and Family,

I have taken the initiative to help a very dear friend of mine who has been hospitalized for the last six months, fighting for her life. She has been struggling with lupus disease for quite some time now and has underwent chemotherapy treatment; but since then, it's been an uphill battle for her and her family. Valerie Yan is currently in a critical stage as she will be receiving a risky (due to it being an autoimmune disease), but imperative blood transfusion because her symptoms have worsen, such as internal bleeding and inflamation of her spine by which has caused paralysis below her waist. She has a loving husband and is a wonderful mother to two beautiful young daughters, Analyssa and Aria, ages eight and four. I sincerely understand that some of you may not know who my friend Valerie is, but I feel as though my integrity with any one of you is as good as my heart can tell. And therefore, I am confident that your help and support will come to aid a dear friend in need. I absolutely believe she has a fighting chance given her strength and the spirit of her friends and family. Valerie has been a helping hand to many people in her life and in her time of need, I wish to reciprocate her big-heartedness as best I can.  And so I ask my dear friends and family, on behalf of a good person, for your generosity in paying it forward, and we will honor it with nothing short of upmost gratitude and humility.
