Thank you and blessings to all of you who have taken the time to stop in this space and share with us in our time of grief.
My name is Storm Mclarty, and I am reaching out to you on behalf of Debbie Wilkes and family in what is a most heart breaking and every parents worst nightmare .
On Thursday the 29th of June Debbie and family received that call that as parents we all pray we will never get. We all know as our children get older after the many trials and uncertainties of their teen years are coming to an end, adulthood enters our childrens lives and takes their hand, just as we are finding a sense of relief that we made it through, perhaps a little worse for wear, sleep deprived, certainly with added worry lines, we breathe a very short sigh of relief as new worries find us. We prepare for early adulthood and its many challenges to come.
Let me introduce you to Ebony Storm. Ebony was 26 living her life as only she did, to the absolute max all the way. She lived her truth, and there was an air that she possessed that very few can carry as gracefully as she did. Ebony had a warmth that touched you, a smile that could light the darkest day. Ebony was and always will be like a beautiful melody, unaware often of her own magic. People felt good in her company and she naturally stole your heart, young or old, any gender, any race, you could not avoid being drawn by her magnetic energy. Ebony wanted to know all about you, she would listen to you as though you were the only person in the room. Ebony had a fierce love for her family and friends, Ebony and her Mother were best friends their bond unshakeable. Ebony was curious and believed in all things spiritual and loved to explore all facets of spirituality, she understood there were some things you just knew and so she walked through her life touching people filling hearts all around her with her love and showing compassion whilst championing for those who could not do so for themselves. Her laughter was contagious and her warrior spirit had her getting back up no matter how many times she got knocked down. Ebony was comfortable in her own skin and whilst her beauty drew you in instantly her many other loves and passions would have you admiring her even more. Into the engine of a car, happy getting dirty, being outdoors, but equally as enchanting as she painted her nails, or did something new to her hair. A loyal friend or lover, a heart that gave so much to so many. And the brightest piercing bluest eyes that seemed to know you and look deep into your soul and hold you there. A free spirit, a true child of nature whose magical energy gave you the idea that she was special and had been placed right where you were at just the right time, there was old wisdom in her eyes, and her soul you felt was connected to the universe. She was an angel here pn earth and she made you need to believe in things other than what we see. I had the pleasure of working with her as a youth worker whilst she was in high school. And some young people take a piece of your heart, so much so that you carry them forever in yours ❤️ Im grateful for being given the honour to have had the privilege of her trust, and her total belief in me, she bared her soul, and spoke to me of her dreams, and cried with me over fears she felt might never let her go. Ebony's Mother Debbie at this time is grateful for all the kind words and thoughts sent her way, and when she is able and feels strong enough to be around others she will let you all know. Right now her world has stopped and I ask we respect her need for solace right now. Ebony was taken tragically so suddenly in a tragic accident where she was hit by a vehicle after walking briefly from her own car that had broken down. Ebony had lost her beautiful baby boy a short while back and as he sadly left before both Ebony and Moon baby Maximus's Daddy had time to enjoy all the gifts he would bring. Ebony fought her way back and had begun to rebuild her soul and her spirit had begun to rekindle that flame that had burned bright and often lit the way for others. Times are hard on so many people across the globe right now, and we all know that many are feeling the pressure. I know many of you will also feel deep sorrow, for now Ebony's loss is as much yours as it is ours and humanities. I hope that I have helped you know her so that I have shared the grief and disbelief of family and friends. Our community here in Collie is in shock and together we will support one another and heal our hearts in time. And I ask any one who may read about Ebony here, if you can spare to assist financially please donate what ever you can spare. Even a dollar in times like these goes along way. If you are unable to help in this way I ask you to please share this publicly on your walls, groups or places so that our story may reach many other souls as in doing so our gratitude to you all for caring and showing support really does warm our hearts in this time of pain. You all are igniting for us all a flame of hope, of community, universal love and connectedness that renews our strength and faith in humanity. We are stronger together in love, than we are when oblivious in our ignorance to the suffering of others. May you all remain blessed, walk together in peace and love. May angels walk beside us all as we lay our precious angel Ebony Storm to rest.❤️
All donations will be shared between Ebony's families choice of funeral director and remainder to the family for a wake and any costs associated.
