Rebecca's Glioblastoma Battle

Hello! We are looking to raise money for Rebecca Kress' medical bills as she undergoes brain surgery to remove a frontal lobe tumor.
In February of 2022, Rebecca experienced an unexpected series of grand mal seizures while at home. She spent a week in the hospital while doctors looked for a cause and noticed fluid buildup in her brain, thought to be caused by encephalitis. Rebecca was sent home with anti-seizure medication and ordered not to drive for three months. After being out of work for the month of March, Becca was finally able to gradually work again remotely in April, as she seemed to be improving.
Then, in early- to mid-June, she began having frequent episodes that included aphasia, lack of sleep, seizures, inability to type or read, and general confusion until she took a turn for the worse at the end of June. At this point, little communication was possible, and she could not effectively walk, sleep, or eat. The decision was made to return to the emergency room on July 8th, 2022.
An MRI scan determined Becca had a one-inch tumor in her left temporal lobe, which was undetectable weeks prior. She was transferred to Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, where she will undergo brain surgery to remove the tumor on July 11th, 2022.
Rebecca is looking toward a long recovery and needs to take substantial time away from work, along with her husband, Brent. She looks to her loved ones, friends, and family for support and assistance as she maneuvers through this challenging time.
