Liver transplant , Those are my real eye color

Hello my name is Melissa graves and I am a 27 year old who lives in California, I have cirrhosis of the liver. I got diagnosed about a year and a half ago. I need a new liver because mine is slowly going out. Cirrhosis of the liver is causing my body to hold onto bilirubin, while my body is holding onto so much of the bilirubin it’s causing me to be jaundice so my skin is a little yellow and my eyes have been yellow for about a year. It’s honestly really embarrassing because I get funny looks or kids will point out that I’m jaundice and that’s embarrassing when everyone stops and looks at you. I’ve been in and out of the hospital since October of 2021. I have had to get my stomach drained 4 times because my liver secrets fluid and I’ve had the area around my lung drained 3 times, I’ve had blood transfusion, plasma transfusions, Alot more that is a little personal so I’ll keep to my self. To get to the point I’m on this page today because if I do get a match and receive a new liver, after the 6- 12 hour surgery I have to stay 50 miles from the hospital that is in San Francisco for 30 days after the surgery. The hospital- Sutter Health- has these apartments near the hospital that they will let you rent out but for one months rent and deposit and parking fees and food for the month my doctor-Richard Fredricks said it would cost me 5 grand. Now anything can help I know times are tough right now but if you could donate I would really appreciate it, my liver would too “ joke” and I know god is on my side so what ever happens then that was his plan.
