Help Jamie and Becky adopt Breayn

We are Jamie and Becky Krontz. Raising a family has always been one of our greatest desires. Even before we were married we planned and dreamed about having children. We talked about all of the things that we wanted to do with our children, how we wanted to educate them, and how we hoped that one day we could see our children become productive members of society. Just about a month after we were married we were overjoyed to discover that we were pregnant. Our hopes and dreams would become reality, but around seven or eight weeks into the pregnancy God saw fit to take our first child to heaven. Four more miscarriages have followed and with them the struggle both physically and emotionally to wrap our heads around what God was doing with our lives. Recently Becky discovered that she was pregnant, we visited the doctor weekly, everything was looking great, but unexplainably at her eight week checkup the ultrasound technician could not find a heartbeat. We were devastated. We had hoped and prayed so hard, friends and family all over the country had been praying, but we still lost the baby. Hope seemed a long way off, we had all but given up on the possibility of having our own children.
For the week of October 5 we had planned to spend several days in Savannah, GA for our anniversary. Because of historic flooding our area experienced the weekend before we decided to cancel our arrangements in Georgia in favor of Gatlinburg, TN. After spending a couple days in the mountains we went on to visit Becky's family in Crossville. Thursday we left to head back to South Carolina intending to meet her brother for lunch in Knoxville. About an hour from Crossville she got a call from a friend who informed us that she had been contacted about a young lady who was seeking a good family to adopt her baby. Without much knowledge of any of the details or what we were facing we turned the car around immediately and headed back to Crossville. We met Breayn's mother and grandmother that afternoon. We immediately fell in love with him. He is a healthy two month old baby boy. Due to circumstances beyond her control his mother told us that she could not care for her little boy and offered to give us the opportunity to adopt him. As of right now we have obtained temporary custody of Breayn through the court in Tennessee. We feel that only Providence could have put our lives together with this little man, and we are so excited about the future.
Our goal with this is not to avoid paying for the adoption ourselves, on the contrary we are working to put every extra penny we have into this adoption, but as you may know the process is prohibitively expensive. We are asking our family and friends to consider joining with us in our endeavor and assist us with this adoption so that we can give Breayn a good home. Any money that you give will be used to help pay our attorney, court, counseling, and adoption fees. This little boy has already made his way into our heart, and it would mean so very much if you could take part in giving him a home with us. Thank you so much for taking the time to find out more about our growing family. We love and appreciate all of you and look forward to introducing you all to our little boy!
