NLCC Prince of Wales
Donation protected
Since 1948, The Navy League Cadet Programme has been introducing young Canadians to the maritime lifestyle.
For children aged 9 to 12, Navy League Cadets engage in various enjoyable and educational activities within a safe environment that emphasizes teamwork. These activities include Seamanship, Semaphore, First Aid, Drill, Community involvement (such as with the Legion), Parades, and camping experiences.
Over its 62-year history, NLCC Prince of Wales has made remarkable contributions to the development of youth, instilling in them the qualities necessary for leading meaningful, fulfilling lives.
To sustain the cadet training program, we rely on donations to cover the expenses necessary to operate this free program for children. These expenses include:
- Uniforms (estimated cost: $500 per cadet)
- Rental fees for school facilities for training sessions ($350 per month)
Every contribution aids in nurturing the development of these young individuals' minds!
Please assist in sustaining the continuity of this program, which is provided free of charge by dedicated volunteers.
