Challenge 21 for the Down Syndrome Centre, Cork

On Sunday June 19th we will be taking part in Challenge 21, which involves raising €21 from 21 people before walking / running / jogging the 21km from Haulbowline to Páirc Uí Caoimh, in order to raise badly needed funds for The Down Syndrome Centre Cork.

As most of you will know, The Down Syndrome Centre Cork is a charity very close to our hearts. It's a centre that provides vital services for children with Down Syndrome, helping them to reach their potential. They provide services that otherwise aren't available to our small one Sean and other children with Down Syndrome in the Cork County.

The centre was opened by a group of parents, who have children with Down syndrome, and it receives no Government funding. It is kept open only through fundraising. We have already availed of physiotherapy, baby massage, baby yoga and speech and language therapy to date through the centre.

If you can be one of our 21 people to sponsor €21 that would be amazing , but obviously we would be so grateful for any donation big or small, as will Sean and the many children with Down Syndrome that will benefit directly from the services within this centre.

Thanking you so much in advance
