Nnenna and Amara’s Summer to Serve 2023

Hi! We are Nnenna and Amara! We have been given the opportunity to go and serve others around the world this summer.

In May, we will be heading out to Tanzania for two weeks with SOS Adventure. We will be getting the opportunity to serve alongside others at schools and orphanages among many other things. The continent of Africa is near to our hearts, so any opportunity to go and serve others there is something we do not want to miss.

In June, I, Nnenna will be traveling to the Dominican Republic with my youth group. One part of this trip that I am really looking forward to is that I have been given the opportunity to sponsor a child. I am going to get to meet this child and begin to build a relationship that will last for years to come. We will also be working some Vacation Bible Schools as well as doing some construction work.

In July, Amara will be traveling to Columbus, Ohio with my youth group. I went last year and had the best week. Throughout the week we will be participating in various service projects. Projects include Vacation Bible School, light construction and home repair, school cleaning and organizing, and helping with local meal services.

As you can see, our summer is packed with many opportunities to love the world and serve its people.
