Eddies fund-time to give back. Club hero!!

For over 45 years I’ve had the privilege of being a member of local community sports clubs. At every one there are a number of people who volunteer and behind the scenes are the ones whose selflessness often goes unnoticed- that is until they’re not there.

Eddie has been in hospital for 6 weeks now and he and his wife need our support. At best Eddie feels a wheelchair maybe as good as his mobility will get moving forward. That maybe optimistic. One thing is for sure he needs us more than we have ever needed him. The gates locked! The goals are locked up? Blah blah. All insignificant compared to the basics of people actually just living. Putting food in the cupboard and having electricity to heat their home.

it’s not going to be easy and almost certainly his whole living situation will

have to change as he currently lives in an elevated flat.

if we can raise just enough to cover food and life bills for a the next 5 or 6 weeks whilst we try to work with authorities to get a solution .

I’m working on £100-£200

a week for 6 - 10 weeks. If we raise more than great. If we raise less then it’s something towards.

We have an opportunity to pay back to someone who silently has been a huge part of the clubs running and success for the last few years.

Even a £1 genuinely helps .
