Hello, my name is Jason Cooper.

I live here in Tacoma, Washington. I was hanging out with my best friend, who is like a brother to me, on December 22nd, 2024. At roughly before 4:00 pm, my friend Matthew Hadway was hit by a car while we were both crossing the crosswalk. The driver was driving over the speed limit and hit my friend right in front of me. He was hit so hard that it knocked him 20 feet away from the crosswalk. The driver who hit my friend was not in control of her vehicle and was seen on the phone.

My friend Matthew Hadway is being treated at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. From what I overheard, Matthew has a head concussion as well as a hip fracture. I am praying my friend survives this and heals. I am asking for any support to help get my friend taken care of. His medical bills will be through the roof. He will also not be able to work anytime soon. He has helped so many people with the limited resources he has had. I would like to be able to help take care of my friend. Any donations are appreciated.

Matthew is doing his best to take care of his family as he is basically their only sole provider. Matthew Hadway is in need of your support. My plan is to be the sole beneficiary of these donations/funds and to make sure that the funds are spent correctly and to help Matthew Hadway while he recovers.

How The Funds Will Be Spent:

As the sole beneficiary of the funds, my plan is to use the funds to HELP Matthew Hadway on things like medical bills, living expenses, household expenses, food, groceries, and to build a savings for future emergencies.

I have to be the beneficiary because I have to make sure the funds are NOT WASTED and spent on the correct things. I will cover expenses for Matthew directly from these funds.
