No Incinerator in Cork Harbour
Donation protected
This campaign is to raise funds for CHASE (Cork Harbour Alliance for a Safe Environment) to help them in their continuing fight to stop the incinerator being built in Ringaskiddy. Following from the decision of An Bord Pleanala to grant permission for the incinerator on May 31st 2018, the next stage will be to seek to take a Judicial Review of the decision to the High Court. We have a very short time to raise this money, before we can go forward and take the decision to the High Court on behalf of the people of Cork Harbour and the surrounding areas. This is a very expensive business, and all money raised will go towards this. We estimate the cost of this to be in the region of €150,000 - €200,000. The people of Cork Harbour, and the wider Cork area have already spent hundreds of thousands of Euros fighting this for the past eighteen years, and we sincerely hope the people will come up trumps again, and enable us to continue to fight for a safe, clean Cork Harbour, without a toxic incinerator in the middle of it.
