Coming to our community for help today. I'm a mother of 5 who has Autoimmune disease and most recently diagnosed with Autonomic Gastroparesis in November 2023. I'm now on a pureed and liquid diet. The gastroenterologist Dr. Daniel has requested an endoscopy and colonoscopy back in December, however, we have yet to find the funds for the procedures, even with insurance.

Two years (July 2022) ago I was admitted to the hospital in Kyle for gallbladder stones and infection. I stayed for a day and was released once the vomiting was controlled. Little did I know, it was the start to multiple ER visits and eventually having my galbladder removed in May 2023, in an urgent surgery. The infection was so bad my intestines had wrapped around my gallbladder trying to protect it. Instead of the normal 3 spots for laparoscopy, I had to have open surgery and was in recovery for a week, compared to the normal 1 day recovery. We did not realize my stomach (Gastroparesis) stopped working. However it was not until November 2023 when I showed up to the hospital in excruciating pain, distended, along with serve constipation. The following month, I was able to get into the UT Health MS clinic where they explained, yes my symptoms present as MS, however, i did not have MS rather, Autonomic Gastroparesis. The severe spasms, body contortions, and blurry vision, low energy and slew of other issues are due to the gastroparesis which has left me malnourished (lost over 100 lbs in two years), my vision has changed and in need of prescription glasses.

As I mentioned I have 5 kids. 3 biological daughters, two of which present with beginning symptoms of autoimmune disease, one which acknowledges she has it and one who refuses. My oldest, is a rare one. She was born with lumbosacral plexopathy, type 1 diabetes and for the last 4 years presenting with autoimmune disease slow digestion, high white cell count ans internal swelling. Between my daughter and I, we have an abundance of medical issues. Her latest is the uncontrollable vaginally bleeding and pain, even with birth control. She needs surgery but one more procedure we cannot afford.

My youngest is 13, who is excelling school, mariachi competition and all advanced classes but suffering from adolescent depression and trying to self identify. They’re an amazing kid and now their childhood home, which we've rented for the last 12 1/2years will be placed for sale soon. We have 25 days till our lease is up. We have no money to move, storage unit or deposit for a new lease.

The owners have considered selling the property to our family as a private sell, however our family is struggling to recover from the financial fallout from our dream Sunny Paws Market pet supply store. Our family was in the midst of a vanilla buildout when the fraudulent contractor took funds and materials in Spring of 2022.

With everything going on right now, the one thing I'm trying to do is secure a home for our kids and our pets.

My wife is in the same boat. Shes a Pro Se, Petitioner fighting for custody of her 5 yr old twins. With the financial fallout from Sunny Paws Market, using all our credit cards to stay afloat and selling off possessions. She works from 5am to 6pm 7 days a week, working with one income through building decks/fences and gig work. Our secondary income is baking goods using our cottage license and flipping items; toys, furniture and clothing.

We submitted our proposal for the Lease to Own a few days ago to the owners of our rental property. If we don't get an extension on our lease, and/or start the process for the purchase of the house, we will be in dire straights. We really are not prepared nor financial able to move. We would lose all of our animals, which would crush the kids. We are desperate for help and hoping our community can lend us a helping hand or two. Thank you
