"Nö zu Öl" und "Wo ist Olaf“ – das habe ich im Sommer 2022 an die Wand des Bundeskanzlerinamts gemalt, gemeinsam mit vier anderen Aktivist*innen der Letzten Generation vor den Klima-Kipppunkten.

Dafür hat mich ein Amtsrichter im Sommer 2023 wegen Sachbeschädigung verurteilt. Und nun verlangt das Bundeskanzlerinamt noch 4.247,12 Euro Schadensersatz.

Für unseren farbreichen Appell gab es einen eindeutig rechtfertigenden Grund, der leider immer noch aktuell ist:

Der Klimakanzler Olaf Scholz ist den Bürger*innen gegenüber nicht ehrlich über die Ausmaße der Klimakatastrophe gewesen und hat nicht die nötigen Schutzmaßnahmen ergriffen. Das ist ein Versäumnis, das sich nicht wieder gut machen lässt. Wertvolle Zeit und Kraft wurde 2022 in Diskussionen über Ölbohrungen in der Nordsee vergeudet.

4.247,12 Euro kann ich nicht alleine zahlen. Kannst Du Dich mit 10, 42 oder 70 Euro an unserem Farbprotest für mehr Ehrlichkeit beteiligen?

Wofür nochmal Schadensersatz - zum Urteil von 2023

“Nope to oil” and ‘Where's Olaf’ - that's what I painted on the wall of the Federal Chancellery in the summer of 2022, together with four other activists from Letzte Generation vor den Klima-Kipppunkten (Last Generation before the climate tipping points).

In the summer of 2023, a local judge convicted me of damaging property for this. And now the Federal Chancellery is demanding 4,247.12 euros in damages.

There was a clearly justifiable reason for our colorful appeal, which is unfortunately still relevant:

Climate Chancellor Olaf Scholz has not been honest with citizens about the extent of the climate catastrophe and has not taken the necessary protective measures. This is an omission that cannot be rectified. Valuable time and energy was wasted in 2022 in discussions about oil drilling in the North Sea.

I can't pay 4,247.12 euros on my own. Can you contribute 10, 42 or 70 euros to our color protest for more honesty?
