Noa and Gidi

Hello, my name is Elan and I am lucky to be part of a large, loving family in Israel. In the events of October 7th, our family lost two beloved members. For anyone who had the pleasure of meeting Noa (27) and Gidi (24) Chiel, you would have immediately understood their kindness, generosity, and humor. Noa was pursuing a degree in neuroscience while Gidi was organizing events to bring international artists to Israel. Both were at the music festival in Israel's Negev desert.

Amidst the chaos of the recovery efforts, the family had no information on the status of their children for seven days. On the eighth day, they were notified that Noa was deceased. On the ninth day, they understood the same was true for Gidi.

Following the publication of Noa and Gidi's story, I received countless messages from kind-hearted people asking about ways to support. While the outpouring of thoughts and love for them are already enough, I have created this fundraiser for those who wish to contribute further. The funds will go directly to the family, who have established a foundation to help those in need and to fill the world with light in honor of Noa and Gidi.

I hope that this funding serves as an outlet for the grief felt for the family, a loving remembrance of Noa and Gidi, and a symbol of global support for all those affected in these recent events.
