Noah George Hand

Hi, we are the Hand family and this is our little boy Noah. Noah is now 8 years old. That in itself is something of a miracle, you see Noah has a poorly heart. All of his life has been a battle from not being meant to survive at birth to not making it past 3 years old yet here he is at an unbelievable 8!

We are so immensely proud of him. However he does not only have a poorly heart, he only has one working lung and is medically very complex. He is life limited and as of last year our amazing medical team who have looked after him so very well throughout his life and after exploring all the options have told us there is nothing else they can do. This means there is to be no more surgical interventions. We have been referred to our local hospice who will assist us in looking after him until the end.

Noah is slowing down, he is starting to show signs of deterioration so we have moved into a bungalow and he has most things he needs here.

So many of you that have followed Noah’s story for so many years will know what a fighter he is and also how he likes to defy the odds. We want to make as many memories as we can and so many of you have offered to assist. So for the first time ever here we are with a way you can get involved practically to assist us in his journey.

What do we want to do? Well regular followers of Noah’s instagram will know how much we push to get away on holiday. Holidays are a big thing for us especially in warmer climates and we plan them carefully as we try and give him a boost of sun every October spacing our breaks and last minute getaway deals throughout the year.

We want to use any money we get to enrich his life. For example Noah’s eyesight is poor being virtually blind in his left eye and he needs a bigger iPad as his old one is a hand me down from other family members so we’d like to get him a new large one and should we get enough money we want to be able to get him that holiday.

We know this is a big thing to ask, it’s been suggested to us many times and we have always said no but so many of you have touched our hearts with your support and love for our family we decided to take the advice and start this Go fund me page.
