Noah Richards Eagle Scout Project at Blankets Creek

Hello. My name is Noah Richards, and this is the GoFundMe page for my Eagle Scout Project.

I’m 17 years old and live in Woodstock, Georgia and am a part of Troop 8880 based in Canton. In the Scouts BSA program, we are required to plan, manage, and complete Eagle Scout Projects in order to demonstrate our leadership skills in a realistic environment.

For my project, I decided to follow my passion and choose a project that focused on trail conservation and management. To this end, I have partnered with the Woodstock branch of the Southern Off-Road Biking Association, also known as SORBA, to replace four of their aging benches along their Van Michael Trail at their Blanket’s Creek location. That’s where you come in!

In order to complete the project, I need to raise funds for both materials used in the construction and installation of the benches as well as food and supplies for the volunteers that will assist me. All funds raised will go towards these goals and any leftover funds will be donated to SORBA to do with them what they wish. I want to thank you in advance for your contributions and helping SORBA and those who use the trails on a daily basis.
