Hi, my name is Noah; I have been selected for a once in a lifetime opportunity to go with the Scout Association to the 25th World Scout Jamboree to be held next year in South Korea. This truly is something I never thought would be possible, as 5 years ago (when I was 9), I was diagnosed with a tumour inside my spinal cord which resulted in emergency surgery, Proton radiation treatment abroad and using a wheelchair to get around.

Understandably this trip comes with expenses and part of the personal challenge is to develop creative ways to raise funds to cover the trip's costs.
A challenge for me is self-propelling any distance at all. My family is very supportive and usually pushes me whenever we are out and about, as I suffer from shoulder pains and exhaustion since my surgery.
Therefore the challenge I have set is to push myself the distance of 1 mile each day until my trip (July 2023, over 400 days). However, I will continue this afterwards to raise money for charities close to my heart.
Any funds raised that are not needed for the trip will be donated to my charities: Young lives vs Cancer, George and the Giant Pledge, Birmingham Children's Hospital and Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust.
Any donations made of any amount will be gratefully received.
Thank you for your time
I look forward to updating you all with my miles!
