Noah’s New Normal

Donation protected
Hi everyone

Here is the fundraiser we wished we’d never have to do.
As you may know our beautiful strong boy, Noah has very complex needs. His 11 years have been full of medical trauma. He’s been deteriorating in recent months, having lots of seizures and loss of energy but sadly last Sunday (on Father’s Day) he had a rare type of stroke in children.
A CT scan confirmed a basal ganglia infarction where his brain was starved of oxygen. He’s got a lot of weakness in his right side and his speech is not great. His cognitive function could return but it’s unknown at the moment if or how much. With the right help we may get some physical and cognitive function back but it’s a very long road to any sense of recovery. To adapt to ‘Noah’s New Normal’ he will need lots of neuro rehab including physio and speech therapy. This includes changes at home like a new bed and bed guards, making his room safe for him now, monitors and various sensory equipment. Sensory equipment is very expensive and he really needs it to help him progress.
We’re asking for help to get him the sensory equipment he really needs in his recovery journey. This has changed our entire family’s lives forever and we know our beautiful boy is still in there, he just needs everyone’s help. And every little does help so please give if you can
Thank you
