Noblesville High School Robotics Club
Donation protected
In Noblesville last year, we had 15 robotics teams from Noblesville West Middle School, 9 teams from Noblesville East Middle School, and absolutely none at the high school level. We plan to change this by creating a robotics club at Noblesville High School this year and competing at Vex VRC competitions. To do this, we need to raise funds to help us pay for robot parts, registration fees, competition fees, and the field components.
The amount needed varies depending on how many students are interested in competing. We have a modest goal for the club to support at least four teams, but hope to have that number grow to support the interest of the students. Our initial budget includes:
Parts kits (one per team) ~$2k each
Field components ~$550
Anti-static mats ~$250
Registration fees ~$650
Competition fees ~$50-100 per team
This year's competition is called Spin Up, and advances in engineering, programming, teamwork, and collaboration skills from the middle school level. The students working hard to create a robotics club bring years of prior experience to the forefront. They've earned invitations to the world championship three times, won multiple online challenges, and earned awards at local and state competitions. Now they want to extend their skills while also helping pave the way for other robotics enthusiasts to learn and grow.
While any and all contributions are greatly appreciated, we can offer varying sponsorship levels:
$100– Supporter: Name on team shirt
$250– Bronze Sponsor: Small logo on shirt
$500– Silver Sponsor: Medium logo on shirt
$1,000– Gold Sponsor: Large logo on shirt
$2,500– Platinum Sponsor: Extra large logo on shirt
Reach out if you prefer to send a check, donate parts directly, or would have a logo to share.
