Noelle's Journey with Lupus and Atypical-HUS

My name is Noelle, I’m 22 yrs old and I have been diagnosed with SLE Lupus (nephritis) and recently my newfound second autoimmune disease, Atypical-HUS. These two diseases have been wreaking havoc on my kidneys for a long time (10yrs) and I just found out about the second one since it’s been hiding in my body. Atypical-HUS is a rare blood disorder that causes hemolysis which breaks down red blood cells. I’ve been hospitalized for over a month, going on two, and I’m currently getting 2 types of chemo treatments for both. This all has been taking a toll on me, I had to go on medical leave for my last semester of college so I won’t be able to graduate this year. Having two autoimmune diseases is very rare, but I’m not gonna let that stop me from being resilient. Please donate any amount to help me in my time of need.
