Noelle’s medical expenses
Donation protected
My name is Michael Amaya and I am helping fundraise for a friends daughter named Noelle Standlee. Over the last week Noelle has been battling abdominal pain. After multiple doctor visits her family was unsure of the exact cause of her pain. Her appendix had ruptured, turning it into an emergency situation. She was transported via ambulance to the Saint Luke’s pediatric care in Boise where she has undergone a procedure to clean up the infection and start the healing process. She will need to stay in the hospital for multiple days and will have a tube they use to continue to clean out the infection left in her for 6-8 weeks as they wait to have her appendix removed after the infection is gone. She will have to go up to Boise multiple times to get checked out in that 6-8 weeks to continue to keep her safe and make sure the infection is healing correctly.
Noelle’s parents, Tony and Tia Standlee, are both teachers and basketball coaches in the magic valley. This is going to be a heavy financial burden for the family. Not only will there be many medical bills but there will be days off of work, bills that need to be paid and travel expenses. Tia has been a coach for many years and has helped youth through basketball and in the classroom. Tony has always been someone to help whenever and wherever needed! He is Co-Founder of the Magic Valley Basketball Club and IMPACT basketball, two non-profit programs that were built to help youth in the area. Tony has built many relationships in the Magic Valley helping youth and their families in the area. Now it is our turn to help his family out!
