Nohema Graber’s family

Ever since the death of Nohema, Paul has been taking care of his son, Jared, who has a rare medical condition. Paul and his son had been sent to the hospital in Iowa City during the month of April due to various health complications. Paul was diagnosed with cancer. After weeks in the hospital he was released home. The day after his release he and his son Christian were driving up to Iowa City in order to bring Jared home from the hospital. On their way to bring Jared home a truck illegally turned in front of their car and hit them head on which destroyed their car and sent Paul back to the emergency room with fractures and internal bleeding the day after he had gotten out of the hospital. Paul’s health has worsened due to the cancer along with other health complications and he is in his last few days. His son, Christian, has taken time off from work and moved back to Fairfield to help take care of Paul and Jared during these difficult times. Christian and his sister, Nohema Marie, will continue to take care of their brother, Jared, once Paul passes. This is intended to help them with the medical, funeral, and household expenses. Despite all of these troubles, they remain optimistic that better days will come and that everything will be alright. With faith, we can all persevere.
