NOLA Alphas Impact Tornado Fund

Donation protected
Eleven years ago, the City of New Orleans and our brothers were devestated by Hurricane Katrina. In August of last year, flooding impacted brothers and others in neighboring Baton Rouge. In both devastating events, Alpha Men in New Orleans stood tall and worked to help those impacted get back on their feet.

Tuesday, February 7, an EF-3 tornado ripped through New Orleans East and brought destruction to thousands once again. We know of at least one brother who completely lost a home, but all know multiple families who need help.

Because Alpha Men run to the fire, we are once again calling on our family and friends to help us raise money for tornado relief in New Orleans.  Funds raised will be distributed to families who lost homes in the tornado to help cover costs such as: initial living expenses like food and clothing, as well as needs associated with clearing and repairing damaged homes.

Since 1925, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. has developed leaders in the City of New Orleans who have made incredible impact in the community. Our Brothers are great men, father, and leaders. Today New Orleans has one Alumni Chapter (Sigma Lambda) and six College Chapters (Beta Phi - Dillard, Beta Tau - Xavier, Epsilon Upsilon - SUNO, Rho Epsilon - Loyola, Rho Iota - Tulane, and Theta Phi - UNO). We are also proud to have two other Alumni Chapters in the Greater New Orleans Area.
