Nolan attend a Jr. National Leadership Conference

Hello. My name is Joy and after a lot of thought, pride swallowed, and a humble heart, I have created this GoFund Me to help raise money to send my son Nolan to Washington DC. I am the mother to three very amazing kiddos. The oldest of which is Nolan who was recently nominated by his teacher to represent his school at a Jr. National Leadership Conference this summer. As much as I don’t want to label myself as a single mother, that is basically the reality of the situation right now, so this trip would not be feasible for me send Nolan on. Within the last two years, my boys have had to unfortunately endure a divorce, moving homes and moving to a new school. Despite all of that, Nolan continues to flourish and excel athletically, academically and as a leader as well. For him to be able to experience this 6 day trip, meet with leaders, explore the city and have the opportunity to unlock the potential that he has has at such an important age would be something a mother can only dream of for their children. If I had the means to do it myself, I would. I know the cliche saying of “it takes a village” so I figured I would give this a try.
