Nomad Indoor WGI fundraiser for 24
Tax deductible
Nomad Indoor is a competitive marching percussion ensemble based out of Western PA. The group is a program of the General Butler Vagabonds, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit.
Nomad offers the opportunity for local youth with an interest in marching percussion to participate in competitions in the local area, as well as within the national Winter Guard International circuit.
Nomad is the only active WGI Independent Open percussion ensemble in the Western Pennsylvania area and has members from as far east as Indiana, PA, south to Morgantown and West to Akron, OH.
Currently, in its 8th year of existence, Nomad was recently promoted from the "A" (basic skills) class into the intermediate or Open class of competition at the national level. This reclassification, although a monumental reward for the performer's hard work, comes with some significant financial needs that lie beyond our original 2023-24 budget.
We seek donations to help offset some of these costs, such as an additional night at a hotel in the Dayton area for the world championships, gas and other travel costs, increasing pricing for drum heads, sticks and other needed gear to help the members perform at the high level needed to be successful in this more difficult class.
Nomad is a low cost alternative to other, out-of-state indoor percussion groups that assess several hundreds of dollars more for membership. Our members are beyond excited at this new opportunity and the administration is doing everything it can to provide them with a lifetime of memories and experiences!
Please consider helping them out with your donation, in any amount, to help us get to our goal to raise $8000 to offset these new costs.
Your donation is tax-deductible as well!
Thank you for your time!
