Support NB Taino Artist At Risk Of Losing Home

Hi, my name is Jovan and I’m fundraising for paying off the remainder of this court stipulation. Unfortunately, back in February 2023 I was behind on rent and emotionally/financially struggling already and I essentially couldn’t take the pressure any more and I left my job, improving the emotional issue but making the financial issue worse…making the emotional issue bad again as well…anyway…Now, my attorney got my landlord to agree on a “payment plan” which just means $850 every two weeks. If I miss just one payment I can lose my apartment and be out in the street. I can’t even put into words how challenging that’s been and it’s been a miracle that I was able to hold it off this long…but I’m only halfway there with the help of several amazing people. At this point I’m starting to realize that this is just state violence based on things I myself can’t control. I’m young (24), non-binary, black, native, poor…statistically vulnerable against the system and at this point it’s “Pay or die”... I appreciate everyone who showed me support in this difficult time and whoever donated even just 5 dollars when this problem was just starting. I’m eternally grateful for your help. In this last push to get it all paid off, I’m trying everything I can to get back on track and I need your help.
