Nonprofit & Civil Rights Leader Loses Everything

Donation protected
LaQuenna Lewis, Founder/Executive Director of the nonprofit, Love Is What Love Does (LIWLD), brought her four children home from the movies and arrived to find her house engulfed in flames. The only thing the family has left is the clothes on their back.

LaQuenna's nonprofit serves one of the most poverty-stricken communities in our country. She is tireless in her efforts to feed the hungry, offer tutoring, and provide free STEM day camps.

LaQuenna and her four children, ages 2, 8, 12 and 15, remain grateful to have each other.

The source of the fire is unknown at this time.

Besides her relentless efforts as the executive director of LIWLD, LaQuenna holds a prominent position in a civil rights matter.

LaQuenna and her four boys are currently sharing a room at a motel. Please donate to the Lewis family and leave a message for LaQuenna and her four boys.

LaQuenna message is, "Love on one another, whether you know them or not, because love truly is what love does".
