Nopalitos Free Pantry

The Nopalitos Free Pantry is being launched as part of a growing movement to provide free food and other assorted grocery items to neighbors in San Antonio, Tx with no questions asked.
It was inspired and created as an extension of The Jovita Idar Little Library and Pantry to serve as a sister pantry for the Highland Park community. However, there are no restrictions on who may access the pantry. It is a "take what you need, leave what you can" resource.
The pantry structure itself has been funded by The Jovita Idar Little Library and Pantry through their donation campaigns with some help from other individual donors.
All monies raised here will go towards purchasing groceries to help keep the pantry stocked regularly. Receipts for all grocery purchases will be kept and can be provided to anyone with questions to ensure transparency. In addition, social media accounts will be created to help give updates on available groceries for the day.
An update will be provided with the social media tags and when the pantry is officially active for use. The pantry location is 426 Rigsby Ave.
