Nora has the Big C!

UPDATE: 4/27/24!

Nora is still in the acute phase of treatment, since beginning treatment in October of 2022. Breast cancer (like too many diseases) takes a lot of time to treat. We were assuming upon the initial information about her prognosis and treatment plan that Nora would only need several months’ worth of assistance. But here we are. Anything and everything helps.

Breast cancer sucks. I can’t really work for a few months this summer while I recover from a bilateral mastectomy, and then undergo six months of chemotherapy and radiation. I have so much support from friends and family, but getting sick in America is expensive. Especially when you’re single and a freelance artist. I have insurance, but my expenses have been overwhelming and the stress of it all isn’t helping with my recovery. If you have the means, donate what you can so I don’t have to move to Europe for some socialized medicine. My lovely artist friends have donated some art as thank you gifts for donations greater than $200. Full list of artists will be announced presently.
