Norah Pickens

Norah was crossing the street at Tell City High school at 7:15 AM on 2/13/24 and was ran over by a drunk driver. She sustained serious injuries and was life flighted to Norton’s Children’s Hospital in Louisville. She sustained fractured ankle that required surgery, a fractured wrist, 4 lumbar fractures and a fractured nose. Her pelvis was also fractured on both sides. She is scheduled for back surgery to repair one of the unstable lumbar vertebrae. After the initial healing she will require a lot of rehabilitation and recovery.
