Due to the overwhelming response to Nora's story (below), WFG is putting together this GOFUNDME to pull together some money so she can buy something nice such as a trampoline, cooking classes or even just pay some of her daughter's medical bills.
Nora’s daughter had a brain aneurysm burst in February so Nora is now raising her 10 year old granddaughter, Rylie. Her daughter is improving every day but it’s going to be a long road. Nora is playing the role of Mom again. Right now, her biggest concern is dealing with the absence of Rylie’s Mom. Rylie’s Dad passed away when she was 6 months old in a car accident.
Nora’s daughter has been in the ICU since 2/8 and was then moved down to the Stroke Unit and will eventually head to rehab to learn to walk again. Due to COVID restrictions, no visiting allowed right now. It’s been a month since Rylie’s seen her Mom. Rylie’s reactions have been all over the place from crying like a baby to being very angry. They live in a coastal area near the water which she loves but there are no kids her age there so it’s really hard for her.
