Donation protected
Every child deserves the right to grow up healthy, educated, and safe. However, there are currently millions of orphans around the world, including Pakistan. Dr. Lubna Noreen and her husband are actively working to change that statistic in the best way they can: their own orphanage called Noreen Zindagi Welfare Trust Located in Ghouri Town, Islamabad, Pakistan, Noreen Zindagi Welfare Trust is a registered Non-Profit Organization founded in 2019 working to make a change in the lives of as many orphans as they can accommodate.
At the moment, Noreen Zindagi Welfare Trust is home to 26 children - 10 of whom are not currently sponsored. The cost to sponsor one child is 8,000 PKR/month - approximately $52.00 USD/month. Sponsorship includes rent, food, clothing, and educational expenses for one child. Our goal at Afsana is to sponsor all 10 children for 6 months which puts us at a goal of collecting $3,120.00 total. If you would like to graciously support these children, we have set up a few options to choose from.
Monthly payments of $52.00 USD can be made for 6 months. Each donor will receive details of the sponsored orphan; including their age, circumstance, and schooling status upon request
One time payment of $312.00 USD that covers the cost of 6 months. Each donor will receive details of the sponsored orphan; including their age, circumstance, and schooling status upon request

“We have set ourselves the target of helping even more people become skilled and helping even more people out of poverty. Together we can. NZWT One-to-One Orphan Sponsorship Scheme is helping poor and needy deprived children . The Orphan Sponsorship Scheme is designed to assist orphans and their families in both the short and long term. A portion of your sponsorship money is given to the orphan and their family to help towards living and housing costs. Moreover, by enabling a child to receive a sound level of education you empower them to build for themselves a brighter future and to provide for their family too”
To Muslims observing the Holy Month of Ramadan: Given that this orphanage is providing shelter and support for young Muslim children and that 100% of your funds will go directly to the orphanage, your donation can count as Zakat. Below are the specified details.
According to lexical terms, Zakāt translates to “purification”. In law, Zakāt is donation that is part of the five pillars of Islam. This is where we give a small portion of our income to charity. In general, the typical amount to give Zakāt is 2.5% of ones income/assets. To calculate how much Zakāt you need to give, check out this link: https://irusa.org/zakat-calculator/
