Norfolk Paws Paddock
Donation protected
It’s been a dream of ours to open our very own secure dog park for our four-legged family members, NPB family, & the dog community.
We secured a private field on a long-term lease in January and a lot of the hard work has already begun, clearing brambles from the field, clearing up waste left by a previous tenant, ensuring access & car parking is suitable for a public venue, submitting planning, registering as a Limited Company, preparing website content & a soft launch of our GoFundMe page.
This project is looking at costing us £15-18k and that is with us doing a lot of the work ourselves so the majority of expense is for, planning, materials, tools, solar lighting, CCTV, signage, machine hire etc. to be able to bring this Dog Paddock to life. We have already spent £5064.90 as of 19th March.
We started this GoFundMe page to help us raise initial set up costs and are kindly asking for anyone’s support who might be able to donate, even £5 will be greatly appreciated.
Not everyone agrees with this Fundraising ask, however thankfully we are lucky enough to have supporters on our side whether its businesses we have continued to support or helped, Liam's clients, or our family, friends and colleagues. Several which have already donated!
We are also giving people the opportunity to a pre-book session offer where it’s buy 4 get 1 free. This helps us generate set up costs and then we will book slots when the website is launched and we have an opening day for the Paddock. (ETA from June 2025)
We are also seeking sponsorship from local business whether that is financial support, free materials, or free services/ labour and in return their business will be advertised as Sponsors at the Paddock and our Website.
We will also have a chosen registered Dog Charity of the Year advertised at the paddock to encourage customers to support them and we will match fund what is raised.
The dog paddock will be a secured field where dogs can run free off the lead in a safe environment, ideal for dogs who are not good on recall, or who are nervous around other dogs, or dogs unable to be off the lead in public areas such as XL Bullies/ other banned breeds.
We truly appreciate everyone who is willing to & who has already supported us!
