Support Our Cricket Club – Fundraising Walk! ♂️
Hi all,
As many people will know, Norley Hall Cricket Club are a volunteer ran club, for over 125 years we have been part of the local community providing opportunities for all to play cricket!
Running even a small club such as ours, is incredibly difficult especially with the increase over the past few years in such things as energy costs.
As a club, we have progressed so much in the past few years. It was only a few years ago we were playing in the Southport & District League and really struggling to raise two sides every Saturday. We also had no practice facilities and didn't have any junior teams.
Roll on to now, we play in the Liverpool & District Competition, have installed an outdoor training facility and now have a thriving junior section with an U9's & U11's team. Also, in 2025 for the first time in a decade will be entering a U13's team with us also hoping in 2025 to play the first ever competitive match with a girls team.
To keep all of this running, we are always looking out for further ways to raise funds for the club. So, on Sunday 23rd March 2025 players and members of the club will be walking over 20 miles to 8 cricket clubs in the Wigan area.

Before finishing our walk back at Norley.
