Norma Camacho Fire Assistance Fund
Donation protected
On Sunday, June 12th, 2022, while traveling home from a graduation celebration Norma Camacho, a valued and tenured member of our SafeStreets family experienced an unexpected and difficult personal situation. Norma is a member of our Funding Team working out of our Kent WA office location. On Sunday Norma and her partner, Michael returned to their apartment building in Downtown Seattle to find more than a dozen fire trucks and crews working tirelessly to extinguish a blazing fire at their residence.
The cause of the fire was ruled accidental caused by an open flame that tipped onto a mattress within the apartment building. However, the impact of this fire has resulted in the total loss of Norma and Michaels's home and all their worldly possessions.
This is a matter that resonates deeply with the entire SafeStreets family as we embrace a mission to protect homes and families and to help prevent tragedies such as this for our customers and family members alike.
Although we, unfortunately, are not able to reverse what has happened, as a Safe Streets family we can make a difference for one of our very own. For those who would like to participate, we have established a way to support Norma and Michael as they face dealing with and recovering from such a challenging situation.
All the funds collected from this Go Fund Me campaign will go directly to Norma Camacho. The SafeStreets ownership team has graciously committed to and is offering to match all of the donations made to Norma and Michael on this Go Fund Me campaign. This generosity exemplifies the company’s dedication to its core cultural values. Please donate what you can and keep Norma and Michael in your thoughts and prayers during these trying times.
Thank you for your time and generosity!
