Norma Linda Martinez

Friends and family, as many of you all know we have been through a rough journey this past week. Our mom Norma Linda Martinez suffered some medical issues to heart and now her mind. On June 17, 2022 she was transferred to HCU to undergo an aortic vessel replacement which could only been done in Houston due to her high risk health. On June 19, 2022 the procedure took place and all went well until her blood pressure dropped causing her hearth to stop. She was gone for 7 minutes but by the grace of God she was brought back. After surgery she woke up and was responsive and her heart was working well again. On June 20, 2022 we received a call that she has cerebral edema. For now she is medicated to keep her sleeping as we wait for the swelling to go down. The doctors say it will be a slow process but we are praying and have faith that the swelling will go down and she will be completely healed from her mind. We don’t know how long the process will be, so she will be staying in Houston longer than expected. We have set up a go fund me account for those who feel it in their heart to support us financially to cover medical expenses and hotel expenses as we stay here. Thank you for your support and for all the prayers. We appreciate the huge spiritual army that is interceding alongside us. We love you all and our mom told us before her procedure how much she misses everyone and wants everyone to know how much she loves you all.
