Norman Needs a Kidney
Donation protected
Dear friends, we reach out to you all in desperation. Our father has been struggling with kidney failure for years and he is now at the point where he will need a donation.
Let us give you some information: Kidney failure runs in our family. This was the cause of death of his mother. We are not matches, and neither is our mother.
Our mother heroically began the process of entering the kidney exchange program in the hopes of matching with a potential donor. She went through the series of tests to determine eligibility and everything was looking great except for one failed test. Due to this unforeseen circumstance, she was unable to participate in the kidney exchange program and was deeply devastated by the news.
We have made Facebook and other social media posts based on how doctors have recommended to find a successful candidate. In addition, we have reached out to our place of worship. At this time to our knowledge, we have not found a successful candidate.
Some people have come forward but have not been able to commit or have not qualified to giving a kidney due to health reasons, so now we are looking to expand our outreach to a formal marketing campaign.
With your donation, we plan to obtain as many billboards as possible to advertise our effort. If you can give anything, we would be grateful of your contribution. If you have not seen our pleas on social media or from our place of worship, you can begin the kidney donation process by clicking on the Kidney Exchange Donor Form .
What needs to be known:
Recipient Name is Norman Goldberg
His Blood Type is A+, so a potential donor can have either a blood type of either A or O (does not matter if positive or negative).
If our goal is exceeded, everything in excess will go toward development of a website and a broader billboard campaign. Once the match has been found, any remaining proceeds will be donated to the National Kidney Foundation.
Thank you for taking the time to donate and / or share.
