As longtime family friends of Norma Suarez, we find ourselves trying to find the right words to share on her recent diagnosis of Cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer affecting the bile ducts. As you can imagine, this diagnosis has turned her family's world upside down. Despite this, Norma remains a beacon of positivity and strength.

For those of you who don't know Norma, Norma has been residing on Long Island for over 25 years with her loving family including her husband, Cesar and their two daughters, Sophia and Gabriella. For those who know Norma, they can attest to her unwavering optimism and infectious smile, even in the face of adversity. She finds joy in the simplest things like spending time with her family, her love of going on walks on the beach, sitting on the sand next to the ocean, and embracing the beauty of nature.

We believe that with access to the right medical care, there is a fighting chance for Norma to overcome this battle.
