Norris Disc Golf Course enhancements

My name is Bill Ross. I am the course designer of Norris Disc Golf Course in Norris, TN. I am seeking $5000 in donations to build out Phase 3 of the NDGC.

Phase 3 will accomplish the balance of the course build-out and address all the suggested improvements from regular users and out-of-state visitors. We will upgrade existing tee pads from compacted gravel to premium 69wt. turf ($150@), add six new tee pads ($200@), add six additional Innova Pro-28 Discatchers $400@), and additional signage and benches. All labor will be accomplished by the Norris Disc Golf Course community and its friends.

While only a nine-hole course, Norris DGC is one of eastern TN's highest-rated disc golf courses (UDisc.com). Conceived as a course that would serve just our small community, the course has attracted visitors traveling along the I-75 corridor from the Great Lakes and down to the Gulf Coast.

The course is heavily wooded, shady, and well-signed. Reviews highlight its beautiful location, technical design, ease of navigation, safety considerations, and playability for all age groups

Norris DGC is built and maintained by a small group of disc golfers who have funded Phase 1 and 2. We appreciate any consideration in helping us make this course even better. Our goal is to accomplish all of this work before EOM January 2023.
