Support EANA Eurythmy Festival 2023

It began with a wish to have a festival to celebrate the performing art aspect of Eurythmy, here in North America. The wish got further refined to showcase and share how the art of Eurythmy is experienced in America. Our imagination of such a festival began to take shape and a group started to form a planning committee to turn this imagination into an event. Well, after nearly three years of working in isolation, in small groups, or in our small, widely spread communities, with much anticipation and collaboration, that event is manifesting in Chestnut Ridge, New York on the Threefold Educational Foundation campus on August 1 – 6, 2023.

This event will be the first time that a eurythmy festival of this scale has been done in North America, and will hopefully inaugurate such activity in North America regularly. It will also be a chance to experience Eurythmy as a performing art, another side to Eurythmy in addition to the pedagogical aspect that many have experienced through the Waldorf school curriculum.

This festival is open to all levels of experience, and we are carving out time in the schedule for performances, demonstrations, workshops and master classes. Immerse yourself in a rejuvenating atmosphere of eurythmic creativity!

Help us to bring this event and these offerings to more people by helping to offset the costs of travel, housing, food, artistic support and facility rental. We anticipate that any registration fee that we must charge to support this endeavor would quickly limit the number of people who could participate. Individuals and groups from a wide range of North America (the West Coast, Mexico, and Canada among others) are traveling long distances at great cost. Your donation will ease their financial burden and bring this experience to a wider population.

$25 – feed a festival participant for a day

$50 – house a festival participant for a day

$50-100 – accompany festival participants with music or speech offerings

$100 - $500 – help a festival participant travel to the Threefold Educational Foundation in Chestnut Ridge, NY

$500-$1000 – support a master teacher’s offerings

$1000 and up – provide facility space for workshops, classes, demonstrations and performances

All donations are processed through the Eurythmy Association in North America.
