North East Sight Matters Eye Day Conference

North East Sight Matters is a not-for-profit organisation working with Vision Impaired Children and Young People (VI CYP) and their families throughout the North East region.

We have hosted many accessible and exciting events over the past four years giving the CYP and their families fantastic opportunities to try new things, go to new places, and create wonderful supportive friendships.

In April 2025 we are hosting our first North East Eye Day Conference. This is an opportunity for professionals and those affected by vision impairments to hear from excellent, informative, and respected professionals working in the vision impairment field.

There are costs involved in hosting such a prestigious event. We are offering places at £100 per person to cover those costs and hoping to make something in addition, so that we can arrange even more activities for our families.

We are looking for people willing to support this conference and sponsor places for those on low incomes, marketing materials, and printing costs.
