North Lenoir Baseball Fundraiser '21

North Lenoir Baseball Supporter,
The 2021 baseball season is quickly approaching. Due to Covid-19 reasons and limitations on gatherings, we will not be having our annual “Ping Pong” Fundraiser. Instead, we are creating a GoFundMe page in hope of donations toward our athletes and program.
Over the last 5 years, North Lenoir’s baseball field has transformed into one of the best playing surfaces in Eastern North Carolina. Recent renovations include - a complete reconstruction of the pitchers mound, extended warning track, laser leveling and lip removal from our infield, a state of the art 9 inning scoreboard, fully turfed batting cages, along with various other items. This is all because of the tremendous fundraising efforts our program has had in the past and would not be possible without the support of our players, families, and community.
We recently named our field ‘John Alphin Field’ and a field dedication will be presented at the start of the 2021 season. We owe it to past, current, and future North Lenoir Hawks, to provide our teams with the best playing surface and resources high school baseball in North Carolina can offer. Some of the things we hope to purchase with the current fundraiser include, but are not limited, to the following:
Grass Savers, Hitting Mat, Helmets, Uniform Accessories (belts, socks, pants, etc.), Paint, Home Plate/Bullpen Tarps, L Screens/Nets, Baseballs, Batting Tees
We are asking for ANY size donation, big or small. Our goal for this year's fundraiser is $5,000. If we can reach that goal, we will be able to provide these student-athletes with plenty of resources/funds for getting the things that our program needs. If we exceed the fundraiser goal, that is GREAT and will give us even more of an opportunity to continue upgrading our facilities and equipment at North Lenoir. We would not be able to do this without you, and we are asking “Hawk Nation” to come together and support our players, JV and Varsity.
Deadline for fundraiser is December 31st, 2020 - This will give us plenty of time to order new equipment and upgrade facilities before our season starts in April 2021
