Minstrels Take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks

In May 2024, some of The North Ormesby Minstrels will be taking on the challenge of hiking the Yorkshire Three Peaks. 

The Yorkshire Three Peaks is a circular hike of 24 miles encompassing Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough and climbing over 1,550 metres. The challenge must be done in under 12 hours. 

Why are we doing this?

North Ormesby Minstrels is an amateur theatre company with its origins deeply rooted in the local area.

Like many societies, North Ormesby Minstrels is facing the challenge of increased costs. We are raising money to enable us to continue to put on our fantastic shows and pantomimes that provide affordable and home-grown local entertainment.
