North Ridgeville Ranger Band family, friends, and fans,
Thank you so much for taking the time to view our Go Fund Me page! We really appreciate your support!
Due to the COVID restrictions and regulations in place during 2020/21 school year, we have not been able to have many of our annual fundraisers. North Ridgeville Corn Fest Dunk Booth, ticket sales to our annual band events, as well our weekly concession stand sales percentages during football and other sporting events have been drastically reduced. These changes have reduced our operating budget funds, and the way that we are able to support our remarkable Band team.
Each year our Band Directors request from Band Boosters a list of items needed to keep our band growing, and playing to the best of their ability. This year Mrs. Bryson's wish list includes: 3 new sets of Multiple Drums, New Snare and Bass Drumheads, Cymbal Bags and holders (right now they get thrown in a truck, eek!), as well as new Ribbons and Flags for our Color Guard. These items total over $7,000. With every small donation we receive we get one step closer to getting the band these wonderful requests.
Our 2020/2021 Band has just been outrageous this year:
The Marching Band was able to participate in each of the home football games this year, only missing 1 week of practices due to precautionary cancellation by the district. On our away game weeks they delighted us at our stadium with the wonderful shows they have prepared, they were even able to welcome our 8th grade students for apart of the season.
Concert and Symphonic Bands have been meeting online everyday and in person 1 day a week since the beginning of the school year. They have recently been able to record a performance for all of us to hear. Please check out the link on our social media accounts.
Jazz Band has also started, beginning in early November, meeting 2 days a week after online school, in person in the high school cafeteria. The Jazz Band can also be heard on the recorded performance.
Our students have been participating in all of these activities while following all COVID restrictions of social distancing, masks, playing masks, and instrument covers (paid for from Booster funds and donations like these). With masks adorned, you might not have been able to see the smiles on their faces, but they were there.
We truly appreciate any support you can give to our program. Your generosity will make the most of their hard work by helping to purchase and repair instruments and equipment used by the band program from 5th grade through high school, and to help offset booster club sponsored events to provide funding to continue to create a successful learning environment for our participants to experience success. Donations are vital to the success of this program.
